Wash raw canary beans, soak them in water over night. Reserve. Drain the soaked beans the next day.
Finely chop garlic and white onion.
In a pot, add oil, fry garlic and onion. Add in the cooked beans and mix well. In the same pot, add water, and beans. Let cook until beans are soft (for about 2 to 3 hours). Once done, use a blender and blend the soup. Serve.
